Win the shoe

The group is split into two such that group A has the same amount of players as group B. Each player from the group gets a number. The groups stand opposite each other with in between them a shoe (or another object).

As soon as the leader calls a number, both players with that number will have to try to win the shoe, or to tag out the player with the shoe. The player that wins the shoe without getting tagged, gets a point for their team. However if the shoe-winner gets tagged by the other team, the other team gets a point.

Example: the leader calls out ‘8’. Player 8 from group A and player 8 from group B will try to win the shoe and both run towards the shoe. The player from A is slightly faster, takes the shoe and runs back to their team. The player from B has gained some momentum however and tags the shoe-winner before they reach their team, so team B gets a point.
