Walk

Like in passing a clap an exercise with a lot of variations. The basis is simple: all players walk in straight lines criss-cross through the room, from point to point, without bumping into each other. Important is that the players do not walk in circles but keep walking straight lines and that they keep walking goal oriented to a point.

Variation 1: Tempo changes. The game leader indicates if the players need to walk faster or slower. You can also leave this to the players themselves, in which case they have to pay close attention to each other. It is important that the changes are gradual.

Variation 2: Transformation. The game leader calls out a word at which point the players transform immediately. For example ‘oud’, ‘drunk’, ‘happy’, ‘shy’ etc.

Variation 3: From a body part. The game leader calls out a body part that then becomes the guiding element for walking. For ‘nose’ everyone follows their nose and for ‘knee’ their knee.
