A storyteller reads from a book that has pictures (Tableau Vivant) with three dimensional people, played by the other players. They can walk through the pictures and if they touch someone, that person says a sentence. Through the flipping of pages (walking from left to right and pretending like they are flipping a very large page) a new picture arises, with which the storyteller can continue the story. This repeats a few times.
