Plea

(Suspect and Court, Suspect)

There is a suspect and a lawyer. The suspect is suspected of a crime. This crime is asked of the audience. Then the lawyer will hold a plea about why their client should be released from all blame. They turn themselves to the audience like they were a judge or a jury.

To strengthen their case they show us things that happened in the past in the life of the suspect (how his home life was, how he was bullied in school, how his older brother made him commit the crime, etc.). With these short fragments the audience has to get an idea of how the suspect came to commit his crime.

Of course this scene can also be played musically. It is smart to then have two lawyers tell the story of the suspect
